Form 2 to Form 6 is about self-discovery, growing independence and learning to lead within the school community.

In High School, each scholar is allowed to pursue a tailor-made curriculum for them. As a result, the Cambridge international curriculum sets a global standard for education and is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. Their curriculum is flexible, challenging, inspiring, and culturally sensitive yet international. As a result, Cambridge students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success at university and in their future careers.

We at Wembley College are proud to be part of this network of approximately 10 000 Cambridge Centres worldwide. We are convinced that this system has proven itself to produce successful, goal-orientated individuals, as is evident in the achievements of our past scholars. At Wembley College, our pupils achieve three qualifications: International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS Level), and A-Level.

The IGCSE courses are studied in Forms 2,3 & 4, with the external examinations being written at the end of Form 4 (Grade 10). The AS and A-Level courses are studied in Forms 5 & 6 with the external examinations being written at the end of Form 6 (Grade 12).

Our Academic Results are on par with leading international schools globally. Our scholars continue to set new benchmarks with their performance. Our IGCSE and AS/A Level examination results are consistently ahead of local and global averages and compare favourably with highly-selective independent schools in South Africa and abroad. The academic performance of our scholars allows them access to many top universities like Stellenbosch University, University of Pretoria, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town, and top universities all over the world.

Sport plays an essential role in the school's mission to support and nurture individual scholars with diverse needs. We believe sport develops a scholar's confidence and character through physical, technical and mental stimulus and exposure to teamwork and leadership opportunities. At Wembley, we believe that a rich education must extend beyond the classroom and provide opportunities for scholars to flourish, develop their talents, and explore a wide range of interests beyond the Cambridge Assessment curriculum.

Our programme is comprehensive, extending from individual and team sports to debating, music and drama. At Wembley College, sport is based on participation and enjoyment. When scholars are involved and happy, they are more likely to achieve their potential, whether as an elite performer aspiring to represent their country or someone simply wanting to play for their school.
